Sports Illustrated Resorts to Launch in Nashville, Tuscaloosa

Travel + Leisure Co. has announced the U.S. debut of its Sports Illustrated Resorts brand, with new locations set to open in Nashville, Tennessee, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Nashville resort is scheduled to welcome guests in spring 2026 and will be located along Music Row in Midtown, close to downtown and popular neighborhoods like The Gulch.
Designed to blend game-day excitement with upscale hospitality, the Nashville property will feature a resort-style outdoor pool, a quick-service dining outlet, a members-only lounge, and a signature fitness center.
“Nashville is a city where the thrill of game day and the energy of live entertainment go hand in hand,” said Geoff Richards, Chief Operating Officer of Travel + Leisure Co. “With this new resort, sports enthusiasts can experience that same excitement in a destination crafted just for them.”
In addition to Nashville, Sports Illustrated Resorts will also break ground on a second U.S. property in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in spring 2026. Both developments aim to deliver immersive sports-themed experiences in vibrant college and pro sports markets.
The U.S. expansion follows the brand’s international debut in the Caribbean with the opening of Sports Illustrated Resorts Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic. That property set the stage for the brand’s vision of merging sports culture with luxury resort experiences.
