In a significant enhancement to passenger experience, Star Alliance has inaugurated its second lounge at the renowned Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). This upscale lounge is nestled in Terminal 1, adjacent to gates 10 through 38, and stands as an exclusive oasis for first and business class passengers embarking on flights operated by Star Alliance member airlines.

Spanning a generous 1,300 square meters, the newly opened lounge has the capacity to host over 300 guests. Its interiors resonate with the quintessential French ‘art de vivre’, exhibiting a contemporary flair. One of the standout architectural features is its extensive glass façade, which not only ensures a flood of natural light but also bestows upon visitors panoramic runway vistas. This transparency imparts an expansive ambiance, making the lounge a serene escape amidst the bustling airport activities.

Equipped to cater to the diverse needs of international travelers, the lounge incorporates:

  • Dining: A buffet station brimming with a rich spread of both local and global culinary delights, snacks, and a wide range of beverages.
  • Bar: A well-stocked bar offering an impressive array of wines, spirits, and crafted cocktails, complemented by dedicated coffee and tea corners.
  • Relaxation: Spaces dotted with plush seating, recliners, and massage chairs – ideal for unwinding pre-flight.
  • Workstation: A dedicated zone featuring desks, ample power outlets, USB charging points, and swift Wi-Fi connectivity for those looking to catch up on work.
  • Media Zone: A curated selection of newspapers, magazines, television sets, and tablets keeps guests informed and entertained.
  • Refresh: An equipped shower area complete with essential amenities including towels, grooming products, and hairdryers ensures travelers can freshen up.
  • Spirituality: A prayer room catering to the spiritual needs of guests from various faith backgrounds.

This latest addition to CDG is emblematic of Star Alliance’s sustained commitment to refining its customer service offering and fortifying its global network. Presently, the alliance has 20 of its member airlines operating from CDG. This translates to an impressive 464 departures every week, connecting passengers to 34 distinct destinations spread across 22 nations.

Besides Paris, Star Alliance boasts lounges in several other global hubs including Amsterdam, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Nagoya, Paris (Terminal 2), Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Sao Paulo, and Tokyo (Narita), reaffirming its position as a leader in offering unparalleled travel experiences.
