Study finds whisky brands are lacking diversity

In an analysis of the biggest 150 whisky brands’ Instagram feeds, only 36% of photos feature women, while 82% feature men, and only 17.9% feature non-white ethnicities, according to OurWhisky. “In the last five years we’ve seen a welcome rise of female representation in whisky marketing, however this study demonstrates we’re still far away from achieving gender equality,” says OurWhisky co-founder Becky Paskin.
