Sun PhuQuoc Airways, a new Vietnamese leisure airline under Sun Group, has officially launched commercial operations with its inaugural domestic flight on November 1, 2025. The carrier’s first service operated between Hanoi Noi Bai International and Phu Quoc using an Airbus A321-200 (VN-A280).

The airline is currently operating three domestic routes, which will remain its only scheduled services through the end of 2025:

  • Phu Quoc–Hanoi Noi Bai International (3x daily)
  • Phu Quoc–Ho Chi Minh City (3x daily)
  • Hanoi Noi Bai–Ho Chi Minh City (3x daily)

Sun PhuQuoc Airways uses a mix of A321-200 and A321-200NX aircraft, with the newer neo variants expected to dominate as additional deliveries arrive. The airline plans to expand its domestic network in March 2026 with new routes from Phu Quoc to Da Nang and Nha Trang.

International expansion is also on the horizon, with services planned later in 2026 to South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and India.

The start-up currently operates two A321-200s and one A321-200NX, with its fleet expected to grow to eight aircraft by the end of 2025 as it positions itself as a leading leisure carrier connecting Vietnam’s popular island destination with Asia’s key markets.
