Swan Aviation Retires Final Falcon 2000, Ends Dassault Operations

Türkiye-based Swan Aviation, headquartered at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, has officially retired its last Dassault Falcon 2000, marking the end of its operations with Dassault jets. According to ch-aviation research, this is the second Falcon 2000 retired by the company in 2024, following the departure of another unit in August.

The recently retired Falcon 2000, registered as TC-KAR (msn 224), is a 19.3-year-old aircraft that had been part of Swan Aviation’s fleet since late 2022. After its retirement, the aircraft transitioned to JetGlobe, another Turkish operator, where it became the fifth Falcon 2000 in their fleet.

Swan Aviation’s current fleet no longer includes any Dassault jets. Instead, the operator focuses on a diverse mix of other private aircraft, including a Challenger 605, two Challenger 650s, a Citation Latitude, a Gulfstream G650, a Bombardier Global 5000, and a Hawker 800XPi. Additionally, the company recently added a Gulfstream G450 to its managed fleet, registered in San Marino.

The retirement of the Falcon 2000 reflects a strategic shift in Swan Aviation’s fleet management and underscores a focus on more modern and versatile business jets. As a prominent player in Türkiye’s private aviation sector, Swan Aviation continues to enhance its offerings to meet the evolving demands of its high-profile clientele.

This move further strengthens Türkiye’s position as a hub for business aviation in the region.
