TAG Aviation San Marino Retires Falcon 900LX

TAG Aviation San Marino has officially retired its sole Dassault Falcon 900LX aircraft, marking the end of its commercial operations with Dassault Aviation jets. The aircraft, registered as T7-DPR (msn 332), was delivered to TAG Aviation San Marino in December 2023 and was last active on October 31, 2024, operating between Paris Le Bourget and Geneva. Following its last flight, the jet remained stationed in Geneva for a month.
In a recent development, the Falcon 900LX was re-registered as LX-DPR and transferred to Global Jet Luxembourg. The aircraft, now part of Global Jet Luxembourg’s fleet, flew for the first time under its new registration on November 28, 2024, from Paris to Luxembourg, operating under the ‘SVW’ code. This marks the second Falcon 900LX in Global Jet Luxembourg’s fleet.
TAG Aviation continues to operate a variety of Dassault-manufactured aircraft across its other divisions. TAG Aviation Switzerland manages a Falcon 2000, while TAG Aviation (United Kingdom) oversees a Falcon 2000LXS and a Falcon 7X. TAG Aviation Malta operates both a Falcon 2000LXS and a Falcon 7X. Additionally, the TAG Aviation group maintains a broader fleet that includes Airbus Corporate Jets, Bombardier Business Aircraft, and Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft.
Global Jet Luxembourg, which now operates the Falcon 900LX, maintains a fleet of 12 Dassault aircraft, including multiple Falcon 2000 variants, four Falcon 7X, two Falcon 8X, and several other Falcon models. The company also operates a diverse range of corporate jets from other manufacturers in Luxembourg and beyond.
The transfer of the Falcon 900LX from TAG Aviation San Marino to Global Jet Luxembourg reflects a shift in the region’s aviation landscape as the TAG Aviation group focuses on its broader fleet operations, while Global Jet Luxembourg expands its portfolio of Dassault jets. This move also highlights the ongoing demand for high-performance corporate jets in the European market, where both companies remain key players in the aviation sector.
