TakeOff North America 2025 Set for Tallahassee

Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) will host the North American aviation community in 2025 as the Destination Sponsor for the eighth annual TakeOff North America. The event is a prominent forum for the development of North America’s domestic aviation market, connecting small- and medium-sized airport representatives, airlines, destinations, and industry suppliers.
TLH, operated by the City of Tallahassee, has seen a 13.58% increase in passenger traffic this year, projected to surpass 1 million passengers by year-end. Currently served by American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and Silver Airways, the airport is undergoing a five-year infrastructure improvement plan, including a new International Processing Facility scheduled for completion in 2025. This $28 million facility will enable TLH to handle international flights and expand its cargo capacity, further boosting its annual economic impact, which nears $1 billion.
The 2025 event marks a timely opportunity as TLH continues to grow as a regional hub and economic driver for Florida’s Capital City, which boasts vibrant higher education institutions, cultural tourism, and a growing business sector. Steven Small, Director of Routes, stated, “We are thrilled to bring TakeOff North America to Tallahassee next year. With the new International Processing Facility, TLH is well-positioned to support increased economic opportunities and connectivity for the region.”
David Pollard, Tallahassee Director of Aviation, emphasized TLH’s role as a critical link for business and travel, with new opportunities arising through its Foreign Trade Zone designation and growing passenger base.
