Tarp Aviation Expands Fleet with Exclusive Russian Global 7500

Tarp Aviation (RLA), based at Moscow Vnukovo Airport, has significantly enhanced its fleet by acquiring three Bombardier Business Aircraft Global jets, including the only Russian-registered Global 7500. This strategic expansion underscores Tarp Aviation’s commitment to offering premium air travel solutions and strengthening its presence in the competitive business aviation market.
The centerpiece of this acquisition is the Global 7500, registered as RA-73592 (msn 70070). This 15.7-year-old aircraft has been part of Tarp Aviation’s operations since December 2022, initially flying without an operator callsign. On May 27, 2024, RA-73592 began operating under Tarp Aviation’s ‘RLA’ code, embarking on its inaugural flight from Moscow Vnukovo to Dubai World Central. Notably, this Global 7500 was originally registered in Bermuda as VP-BAT and managed by Avcon Jet. Its last flight under the Bermudan registration took place on December 24, 2022, traveling between Tbilisi and Almaty International.
In addition to the Global 7500, Tarp Aviation has expanded its fleet with an 11.9-year-old Global 5000, RA-73637 (msn 9547). This aircraft commenced operations on August 29, 2024, departing from Vnukovo. Initially operating under its original registration and callsign, the Global 5000 transitioned to Tarp Aviation’s ‘RLA’ code in mid-September. Originally delivered to Avcon Jet Malta, RA-73637 was transferred to Avcon Jet’s Austrian division in 2020. It last flew as OE-LEV under Avcon Jet’s ‘AOJ’ code on February 26, 2022, from Dubai International to Moscow Vnukovo before being parked for over two years. Its induction into Tarp Aviation’s fleet marks a revitalization of its operational status.
The most recent addition to Tarp Aviation’s fleet is another Global aircraft, RA-73650, which began operations on January 2, 2025. This aircraft operates on the Moscow Vnukovo to Malé route. While details regarding the type and serial number of RA-73650 remain undisclosed, its integration signifies Tarp Aviation’s ongoing efforts to diversify and modernize its fleet.
These three newly acquired Global jets join Tarp Aviation’s existing fleet, which includes two Challenger 650s, another Global 5000, a Global 6000, a G650, and a Tu-204-300. All the identified Global jets were previously operated by Avcon Jet, highlighting a strategic partnership and seamless transition within the aviation group.
Tarp Aviation, formerly known as Rolema, is led by Chairman Vitaly Tereshchenko. Tereshchenko brings extensive experience from his previous roles as the general manager of Sirius-Aero (later rebranded as UNISKY, which is now in bankruptcy) and RusJet. Under his leadership, Tarp Aviation has demonstrated consistent growth and a strong commitment to expanding its operational capabilities.
The acquisition of the Global 7500 is particularly noteworthy as it is the only Russian-registered aircraft of its kind. Ahmed Eid, Fleet Management Chief at Tarp Aviation, emphasized the strategic importance of the Global 7500 in the company’s growth plans. “This type will serve the regional destinations synergizing with our B767F and emphasizing the Silk Route strategy created by our chairman,” Eid revealed on LinkedIn. He further elaborated that Tarp Aviation aims to leverage Tashkent’s strategic location as a halfway point between Asia and Europe. This positioning is expected to reduce costs and travel time for clients’ cargo, aligning with the airline’s broader Silk Route strategy to enhance connectivity and efficiency in cargo transportation.
Titan Aviation Holdings, a subsidiary of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, played a pivotal role in this acquisition by providing the Global 7500 aircraft. Currently, Titan Aviation holds three B757-200(PCF) aircraft in its portfolio, all of which are stored at different airports across the United States. The partnership between Tarp Aviation and Titan Aviation ensures that the newly acquired aircraft will be expertly integrated into Tarp Aviation’s operations, benefiting from Titan Aviation’s extensive experience in managing high-performance business jets.
