TBO acquires Bookabed

TBO Tek Limited (“TBO”) announced today that it has fully acquired BookaBed AG (“BookaBed”) a leading B2B travel platform in Ireland. With this acquisition, TBO further deepens its European footprint into Ireland & UK.

BookABed now becomes TBO Ireland & UK and will remain under the leadership of Tyrrell.

Over the course of the year, the breadth and depth of BookaBed will be fully integrated into the TBO platform which, today, already lists more than 1 million properties worldwide.

Commenting on the announcement Tyrrell, CEO of BookaBed, said: “We are excited about this acquisition. We’ve had deep relationships in the industry here in Ireland. This development reflects the aggressive growth plans the company has set globally as it continues to step up investments by constantly looking at similar partnerships to expand, hire and improve customer experience toward its vision of simplifying and empowering the travel ecosystem.
