Tesla’s trademark app hints at a move into food service

Tesla has filed a trademark application to use its logo and other distinctive branding in the restaurant industry, hinting that founder Elon Musk might move forward with a proposal to open a drive-in eatery at one of its electric vehicle charging stations. There are about 25,000 Supercharger stations around the globe and roughly 4,500 of them are at restaurants, hotels and other hospitality businesses.
