Textron Wins ALE Order for Up to 12 Cessna Citation Jets

Textron Aviation has secured a significant new deal with Aerolíneas Ejecutivas (ALE), Mexico’s leading business aviation operator, for up to 12 Cessna Citation business jets. The agreement includes a mix of Citation Latitude, Citation CJ3 Gen2, and Citation CJ3 Gen3 aircraft, which will be integrated into ALE’s fractional ownership program, MexJet.
Under the terms of the agreement, ALE will take delivery of four jets in 2026, consisting of two Citation Latitudes and two Citation CJ3 Gen2s. The order underscores ALE’s continued leadership in Mexico’s private aviation market and reflects its commitment to fleet modernization and service expansion.
ALE has a longstanding relationship with Textron Aviation, operating several Cessna Citation models, including the Latitude and CJ3+. Through MexJet, ALE introduced Jetcard, Mexico’s first prepaid flight hour program, positioning itself as an innovator in business aviation solutions.
Arturo Ortega, President of ALE, emphasized the company’s dedication to safety and growth. “At ALE, we remain focused on delivering excellence and prioritizing the safety of our clients. Our continued investments reflect our commitment to innovation and premium service,” he said.
This latest order is part of ALE’s strategic initiative to enhance its fleet capabilities and meet rising demand for flexible private jet services across Mexico and Latin America. The addition of next-generation Citation jets will support ALE’s mission to offer efficient, comfortable, and reliable air travel options for its expanding client base.
