Thai SmartLynx, formerly known as BBN Airlines Thailand and part of Avia Solutions Group (ASG), has selected TrustFlight’s Centrik 5 platform to enhance its safety, quality, and risk management as it prepares to commence operations in early 2025. This marks a significant step for the airline, positioning it as Thailand’s first ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) provider utilizing Airbus A320s to support the country’s growing tourism market.

The Centrik 5 platform will equip Thai SmartLynx with essential tools to manage safety, compliance, and operational risk in real-time. The comprehensive system includes modules for Safety, Compliance, Risk, Training, Workflows, and Regulations, all designed to help the airline meet regulatory standards while improving operational efficiency. The Regulations and Workflows modules will ensure the airline is promptly notified of any regulatory changes, enabling timely compliance actions.

Apirak Homlaor, CEO of Thai SmartLynx, highlighted the advantages of TrustFlight’s real-time operational management capabilities. “Far more than enabling seamless safety and quality management, TrustFlight’s prowess as a real-time operational management system ensures our teams remain connected as we respond to dynamic changes synonymous with the aviation industry,” Homlaor stated.

Set to launch in early 2025, Thai SmartLynx aims to tap into the booming tourism sector in Thailand, particularly as the country continues its recovery post-COVID-19. The airline’s strategic use of Airbus A320s aligns with its mission to provide reliable ACMI services, enhancing the operational landscape for airlines and tour operators in the region.

By leveraging TrustFlight’s Centrik 5 platform, Thai SmartLynx is poised to establish a robust safety culture while maintaining compliance and efficiency in its operations, contributing to the revitalization of Thailand’s aviation market.
