Thailand’s Advance Aviation Upgrading from G200 to Gulfstream G280

Advance Aviation (Thailand) is upgrading its fleet by replacing its Gulfstream G200 jets with the newer Gulfstream G280, aiming to reduce operating costs and enhance range capabilities.
Speaking in Bangkok, CEO Chai Nasylvanta confirmed the first G280 will arrive in March 2026, delayed due to production setbacks linked to the Gaza crisis. Once delivered, the company will retire its remaining G200 (HS-LEE, msn 090).
Advance Aviation previously operated two G200s, selling HS-HAN (msn 153) in 2024. The transition to the G280 will improve efficiency, as sourcing G200 parts has become increasingly difficult. The new jet also offers a five-year warranty, improved fuel efficiency, and extended range, making flights to Tokyo more viable without payload restrictions.
Beyond fleet expansion, Nasylvanta is considering adding a second G280 and expanding the company’s aircraft management services, focusing solely on Gulfstream models. Advance Aviation already provides ground handling and hangar services for a G650ER.
Alongside its jet operations, Advance Aviation also runs four Eurocopter EC130s for luxury helicopter transfers in Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
While Thailand’s aviation market is shifting, Nasylvanta sees long-term demand for private aviation. The company continues to generate 90% of its business from European charter operators, with a focus on high-net-worth clients seeking premium business jet travel.
