The Best Business-Class in the Sky: Delta One Suites

Share

Delta SkyMiles fans will be happy with Delta One Suites, but you’ll need to know which planes and routes offer the swankiest design. Delta is the only U.S. carrier to offer business-class seats with a door, but they’re only available on certain planes.

Delta’s Airbus A350s and A330-900neos are most likely to have these private suites, whereas Boeing 767-300ER and 767-400ER planes do not. Note that Delta has a subset of A350s (from partner airline LATAM) flying to certain destinations like Honolulu and Santiago, Chile, without suites with doors. Fortunately, Delta makes it clear on its website by labeling suites with a private door as “Delta One Suite” versus the standard “Delta One.”

Among the perks in Delta One Suites are restaurant-quality meals (often in partnership with well-known chefs at its destinations) and memory-foam cushion seats that transform into a lie-flat bed. Close the door, and it’s like you’re in a private room.

Delta One Suites is Delta Air Lines’ business-class offering, providing a private and luxurious flying experience for passengers. These suites are available on select international and long-haul domestic flights.

Each Delta One Suite features a sliding door for privacy, a fully lie-flat bed with memory foam cushioning, and direct aisle access. The seat is also equipped with a personal in-flight entertainment system, a USB port, and a power outlet.

Passengers can enjoy a premium dining experience with meals created by award-winning chefs and served on Alessi serviceware. Delta One Suites also offer a variety of snacks and beverages, including cocktails and wine.

Delta One Suites provide additional amenities, including noise-cancelling headphones, TUMI amenity kits, and Westin Heavenly bedding. Passengers also have access to the Delta Sky Club and partner lounges around the world.

Delta One Suites have received high praise from passengers and industry experts for their comfort, privacy, and luxury.
