City leaders hope The Farnam Hotel, Autograph Collection in downtown Omaha, Neb., will provide a shot in the arm for overall redevelopment. “These types of hotels make a big difference to people that want to come here and visit and have their businesses or have their meetings here,” Mayor Jean Stothert said at the upscale hotel’s grand opening last week.
