The Leela Joins WTTC to Boost Sustainable Tourism

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has welcomed The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts into its prestigious membership program. This move integrates the renowned Indian hotel brand with some of the world’s leading hotel groups, supporting the sustainable growth and economic impact of the travel and tourism industry.

Founded in 1986, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts boasts twelve luxurious properties across India. Recognized as the World’s Best Hotel Brand by Travel + Leisure for two consecutive years, the brand continues to rank among the top three globally. Several of its properties are also distinguished members of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ exclusive Legend Collection.
