The Platinum Club Experience at Princess Hotels & Resorts
The all-inclusive resort vacation is already an elevated travel experience. However, there are ways to enhance the stay even more.
Princess Hotels & Resorts is doing just that with their Platinum Club packages.
“This is more of an upgraded experience when you’re staying with us,” said Nicole Perez, Princess Hotels & Resorts Director of Sales, North America. “It gives the option for those clients that want maybe a little bit more while they’re on vacation. So they get exclusive access to some specific restaurants, they get premium Wi-Fi, they get access to premium brand drinks, they also have early check in and late checkout subject to availability and they get their private check in and private like out. We do offer tons of opportunities for these clients that do want to upgrade a little bit more while they’re staying with us.”
For example, guests who upgrade at the Caribe Deluxe Princess or the Tropical Deluxe Princess in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic receive:
- Access to two exclusive restaurants: “La Cava” gourmet and Mediterranean “Platinum Restaurant”
- Access to relaxation pool and sauna in the spa area – adults only
- 10 % discount on all spa services.
- Beachfront lounge bar exclusively for Platinum guests
- 24-hour room service
- Personalized check-in, a special welcome cocktail and a fruit basket in their room
- Concierge services
- Daily turndown service
- Beach towels in the room (1 per person, use during the stay)
- Use of robes and slippers during the stay
- Late check out until 15 (subject to availability)
- Exclusive area on the beach with waiter service for drinks.
- Premium WiFi service
- National, international and premium drinks in the bars of the hotel
- Beach bag (one per room)
- Luxury bathroom toiletries in the room
The exclusive access to certain bars and pools on the resorts, as well as speciality restaurants, is a major perk of the program. The Platinum Club rooftop at Caribe Deluxe Princess was one of the most photogenic spots on the property too.
“The food has been amazing. It’s the nice little perks of it, just to have those extra bonuses and a little bit higher-end services as well,” Dan Sadleir Elite Travel and Events said after experiencing Platinum Club offerings at the Caribe Deluxe Princess resort.
Plus, the cost of upgrading is what many travel advisors say is rather affordable. It’s currently only $40 per person, per night.
“For my clients this it’s a great opportunity because it’s a great priced product but for a little price you can actually upgrade them pretty easy,” said Garett Kucifer, owner of Kucifer Travels. “So, you can give them a lot more for not that much money.”
Tyson Wharton, owner of Sioux Empire Travel said: “The Platinum Club is the only way to go if you are staying at a Princess Resort. The charge is affordable and completely worth it in every way. I wouldn’t book a room without it for my own personal stay.”
Princess Hotels & Resorts has several properties to choose from in the Caribbean region.
In addition to Caribe Deluxe Princess and Tropical Deluxe Princess, the other properties located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic are Punta Cana Princess, Princess Family Club Bavaro and Grand Bavaro Princess.
The Platinum Club experiences are also available at the Riviera Maya, Mexico properties. Grand Sunset Princess, Grand Riviera Princess, Princess Family Club and Platinum Yucatan Princess.
