The World, Residences at Sea—the largest privately owned residential yacht—has unveiled its 2026 “Journey,” an ambitious year-long itinerary that will span 90 destinations across 20 countries on six continents. Designed in close collaboration with its residents, the voyage emphasizes extended port stays for deeper cultural immersion.

The itinerary begins in Tasmania, Australia, and concludes in Singapore at the end of 2026. Following Tasmania, The World will sail to New Zealand and undertake a rare circumnavigation of Antarctica before heading to South America to visit Ushuaia and the Chilean fjords. From there, it will cross the South Pacific, stopping at Easter Island, the Pitcairn Islands, French Polynesia and Hawaii.

After exploring Hawaii, residents will visit California, the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, including the Aleutian Islands and major glacier regions. The ship then returns to Asia, calling at Tokyo, Hiroshima, Busan and multiple ports in China and Southeast Asia before ending the journey in Singapore.

Jessica Hoppe, President & CEO of The World, said every destination was chosen with resident input: “Our community is exceptionally well traveled, and their collective insights have shaped a voyage that reflects both individual perspective and shared vision.”

The 2026 Journey also features three expert-led expeditions. Highlights include an Antarctic semi-circumnavigation to Mount Erebus and penguin colonies, a South Pacific and Pitcairn Islands adventure including Robinson Crusoe Island, and a French Polynesia and Line Islands expedition featuring biodiverse coral reefs and immersive cultural experiences.
