Titan Airways Acquires Additional A321P2F Cargo Aircraft

UK-headquartered Titan Airways has taken delivery of its fourth A321 passenger to freighter (P2F) aircraft.

The aircraft, registered G-POWW, was converted by German firm Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW) in Singapore and will be joining Titan’s fleet at its London Stansted Airport base.

“The aircraft will go into the paint shop at the end of the month and enter revenue service early August,” said Titan.

In August 2021, the charter airline set up a new Maltese airline operating with A321 aircraft to gain more business within Europe.

Titan said it currently operates its other three A321P2Fs within its Malta-based airline.

The A321P2F, designed for low fuel burn, offers containerised loading in both of its two decks. With capacity for up to 14 containers in the main deck and 10 containers in the lower deck, the aircraft can carry up to 207m3 / 27,000kg of cargo.

On its website, Titan also states that it operates A330P2F aircraft. Air Cargo News has requested confirmation from Titan regarding how many of the aircraft type it currently operates.
