Titan Aviation Relaunches US Ops with Learjet 55 Charter Flights

Titan Aviation, operating in the U.S. as Onyx Air LLC, has resumed commercial flight operations by adding a Learjet 55 to its Part 135-certified fleet. This move ends an eight-month pause in U.S. operations without any active certified aircraft, according to ch-aviation research.

The Learjet 55, registered as N117LR (msn 55-075), joined Titan Aviation’s certificate in October 2024. ADS-B data confirms the 41.9-year-old jet conducted its first commercial flight on November 14, completing a roundtrip between Allentown International and Morristown Municipal airports. Previously operated privately, the aircraft has been U.S.-registered throughout its operational history.

This addition reinstates Titan Aviation’s capability to offer commuter and on-demand charter services in the U.S. The company had last operated a Hawker 850XP (N314CG) for such services between October 2022 and February 2024.

Headquartered in Dubai, Titan Aviation offers a wide range of aviation services, including aircraft management, acquisitions, sales, maintenance, and private jet charters. The firm manages a diverse global fleet under its Titan Aviation San Marino division, encompassing aircraft from Boeing Business Jet, Bombardier, Dassault, Gulfstream, Embraer, and Hawker Beechcraft.

The return to U.S. operations with the Learjet 55 underscores Titan Aviation’s commitment to expanding its service portfolio while maintaining a strong presence in the on-demand private aviation market.
