Tourism is up, and so are London’s upscale hotel numbers

Steady tourism recovery in the UK is reflected in London’s luxury hotel market, with nearly half of the 26 properties added in 2021 being of four-and five-star status. Another 46 openings are expected this year, and luxury rooms will figure prominently as the likes of Peninsula, Raffles and Waldorf Astoria make their first London appearances.
