Transavia Unveils Brand Refresh with New A320neo Livery

Air France-KLM Group has begun rolling out a brand refresh for its low-cost subsidiary Transavia, starting with a new Airbus A320neo currently being assembled at the Airbus facility in Hamburg. The update, announced on June 24, 2025, marks the first step in a gradual transformation that will include a refreshed logo, new aircraft livery, and redesigned digital and airport experiences.

While described as a “subtle” refresh, the brand update aims to reflect Transavia’s continued growth and evolving identity. According to the airline, the updated logo will be “more modern and powerful,” maintaining its bold character while introducing a more refined visual style. A softer shade of the iconic Transavia green will become a defining element of the new design.

A first glimpse of the refresh has emerged in an image of the new A320neo’s tailfin at the Airbus plant, offering a preview of the evolving livery. The full aircraft design is expected to be revealed soon, with deliveries beginning later this year. The new livery will gradually be introduced across the Transavia fleet and integrated into airport signage and the airline’s revamped website.

“As Transavia continues to grow, in line with the expansion of its fleet and network, Air France-KLM has decided to refresh its brand, in a subtle way,” a Transavia spokesperson said, emphasizing that the refresh aims to enhance brand recognition while preserving its familiar identity.

The update comes at a time of significant expansion for Transavia. In 2024, the airline carried 23 million passengers, an increase of 8.1% from the previous year. As demand for affordable air travel across Europe continues to rise, Transavia is preparing to scale up its operations with a more modern brand presence to match.

According to data from ch-aviation, Transavia France currently operates a fleet of 17 Airbus A320neos alongside 64 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The airline is awaiting the delivery of at least one more A320neo, reflecting its broader fleet renewal strategy. The A320neo’s improved fuel efficiency and environmental performance align with the airline’s goals for more sustainable operations.

The brand refresh also signals Air France-KLM’s strategic focus on strengthening its low-cost operations in the highly competitive European market. By updating the visual identity of Transavia and modernizing the passenger experience, the group aims to solidify the carrier’s position as a go-to choice for budget-conscious travelers while keeping pace with its growing network and fleet.

As Transavia prepares to reveal its full new look and welcome additional A320neo aircraft into service, passengers can expect to see a sleeker, more unified brand that continues to offer affordable travel across Europe with a fresh, modern appeal.
