Travel ban lift buoys N.Y. hospitality meeting

Monday’s resumption of foreign travel to the US lent a festive feel to the opening of the NYU Hospitality Industry Investment Conference. The kickoff speaker, Loews Hotels & Co. Chairman and CEO Jonathon Tisch, pointed out that international bookings to the US have soared to 70% of pre-pandemic levels while domestic reservations are exceeding those marks.
