TravelBank Makes American NDC Content Available in Exchanges

TravelBank has launched booking features for American Airlines’ New Distribution Capability content through its travel platform, the company announced.

TravelBank announced the availability of American NDC content in June, and the content now is part of a “seamless experience” on the travel platform, according to TravelBank cofounder and CEO Duke Chung. That includes tapping into the capability American announced in recent months of being able to exchange traditional EDIFACT-issued tickets through NDC connections so TravelBank customers can use credits from canceled or changed flights across American’s content sources.

TravelBank, an SME-focused travel, expense and payment platform that reports more than 15,000 customers, is a part of U.S. Bancorp, which acquired the company in 2021.
