New Distribution Capability content from Lufthansa Group and Air France-KLM will be available on the Travelport Plus platform by the end of this year, and the company also has secured an expanded agreement with Hertz and a new partnership with Booking.com, Travelport announced.

Air France-KLM’s NDC content currently is being introduced on the Travelport Plus platform—which eventually will be Travelport’s sole global distribution platform, replacing Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan—following its new agreement with the airline group, announced late last year. Travelport also said it would begin the Lufthansa Group’s NDC content rollout this year, earlier than its previously announced target of early 2023.

In addition to its partnership with Bangladeshi carrier US-Bangla Airlines, Travelport Plus will be adding Democratic Republic of the Congo flag carrier Congo Airways and Canadian jet charter company FlyGTA to the platform as well, Travelport announced.

Travelport’s partnership with Booking.com will add new rate options at properties across the Travelport Plus platform. An expanded distribution agreement with Hertz is adding prepaid car rental rates to the platform.

Travelport chief marketing officer Jen Catto in a statement called the announcements “the fourth chapter in our delivery of Travelport Plus, where we’re giving agents access to more supplier options and fueling their ability to sell more air, hotel and car offers as we broaden and expand our content catalog.”

In addition, Travelport said that a new generation of its automated exchange feature, which automates tasks related to manual ticket exchanges, will be launched in the coming months.
