Tri-State Charter, based in Johnstown at the John Murtha Cambria County Airport, has significantly enhanced its Part 135-certified fleet by adding two CRJ200LR aircraft in November 2024. This expansion introduces the CRJ200LR variant to Tri-State Charter’s roster, as revealed by recent research from ch-aviation.

The first of the new additions, N141SH (msn 7206), is a seasoned 27-year-old CRJ200LR that previously operated privately within the United States. This aircraft brings decades of reliability and performance to Tri-State Charter’s operations, reinforcing the company’s commitment to providing dependable charter services. The second aircraft, N8968E (msn 7968), is a slightly younger 20.2-year-old CRJ200LR. This jet has an impressive operational history, having been part of Endeavor Air’s fleet under a capacity purchase agreement with Delta Air Lines, operating under the Delta Connection banner. N8968E was last active for Delta on a ferry flight from Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport to Kingman before being parked until December 4, 2024. Subsequently, it was ferried to Great Falls, ready to serve Tri-State Charter’s expanding needs.

Tri-State Charter specializes in providing private charter flights, leveraging a fleet exclusively composed of CRJ100 and CRJ200 variants. The addition of these two CRJ200LRs strengthens the company’s ability to offer versatile and efficient travel solutions to its clients. Currently, Tri-State Charter operates a fleet that includes five CRJ200ERs, a CRJ200XR, two Challenger 800 (CRJ100)s, and three Challenger 850s. This diverse lineup allows the company to cater to a wide range of passenger needs, from short regional trips to longer, more comfortable journeys.

The integration of the CRJ200LRs into Tri-State Charter’s fleet represents a strategic move to enhance operational capacity and improve service quality. These aircraft are renowned for their extended range and enhanced performance capabilities, making them ideal for both domestic and international charters. By expanding its fleet with these reliable jets, Tri-State Charter is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for private air travel in the region.

Tri-State Charter’s commitment to fleet expansion and modernization is a testament to its dedication to providing top-tier charter services. The company’s focus on maintaining a fleet of well-maintained and efficient aircraft ensures that clients receive the highest level of comfort and safety during their flights.
