Triton Airways has retired its sole Citation XLS+ from its Part 135-certified fleet, according to ch-aviation research. The company will continue offering charter services with its sister aircraft, a Citation Excel.

The retired jet, registered as N650DR (msn 560-6248), was removed from Triton’s certificate in October 2024. The 6.6-year-old aircraft had joined Triton’s fleet in February 2023 and was based at Lexington Blue Grass during its tenure. It remains registered in the United States but is no longer listed as Part 135-certified.

Triton Airways, specializing in private jet charters and aircraft management, now operates a streamlined fleet comprising one Citation Excel, one Citation Latitude, one Super King Air B200, and one King Air B350i.

The retirement reflects Triton’s strategic fleet adjustments as it continues to serve its clientele with efficient and high-quality charter options.
