Troubled Crown Resorts may face demise, auditor says

The survival of Crown Resorts is in serious doubt due to a spate of money-laundering investigations and the likelihood of civil action carrying heavy penalties, aggravated by the coronavirus, the Australian casino operator’s auditor says. “A material uncertainty exists that may cast significant doubt on the Group’s ability to continue as a going concern,” the auditor’s report warns.
