Turbo Air, a charter and fixed-base operator (FBO) based in Boise, has bolstered its Part 135-certified fleet with the addition of a Citation Jet 3, marking the company’s continued growth in private aviation. The aircraft, registered as N90SJ (msn 525B-0183), officially joined the fleet in November 2024 and is already providing charter services from Boise.

The 17.2-year-old Citation Jet 3 is configured to accommodate up to six passengers, offering a blend of comfort, efficiency, and range suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Previously part of Nexgen Aviation’s charter fleet until March 2024, the jet has now been integrated into Turbo Air’s operations, enhancing the company’s ability to meet increasing demand for private air travel.

The addition of the Citation Jet 3 aligns with Turbo Air’s strategy to provide a diverse range of aircraft options. The company’s charter fleet now includes two other Cessna models: a Citation Jet 2 and a Citation Jet 4. These aircraft complement the newly added Citation Jet 3, enabling Turbo Air to offer flexible solutions for clients seeking high-performance private jet travel.

In addition to its jet offerings, Turbo Air operates five King Air turboprops under its Part 135 certificate. These include an E90 model and four B200s, which are particularly popular for regional travel due to their reliability and ability to access shorter runways.

As a key player in the private aviation market, Turbo Air continues to expand its fleet while maintaining a strong operational presence at its Boise headquarters. The company’s dual role as a charter operator and FBO provider positions it uniquely to deliver end-to-end private aviation services, from ground handling to air travel.

The Citation Jet 3’s induction marks a significant milestone for Turbo Air, showcasing the company’s commitment to growth and excellence. Its combination of advanced avionics, efficient performance, and passenger comfort is expected to appeal to a wide range of clients, further solidifying Turbo Air’s reputation in the industry.

With this latest addition, Turbo Air is better equipped than ever to meet the needs of its expanding customer base. Whether it’s short-haul regional flights or longer journeys requiring premium jet capabilities, the company’s diverse fleet ensures it can deliver tailored solutions for every travel requirement. Turbo Air’s continued investment in its fleet and facilities underscores its dedication to providing exceptional private aviation experiences for its clients.
