Turkey’s Barair Launches Dassault Falcon 2000LXS Operations

Türkiye’s Barair has officially launched Dassault Aviation operations with the addition of its first Falcon 2000LXS business jet. The aircraft, registered as TC-SKY (msn 316), is 8.4 years old and began flying for the Istanbul Atatürk-based operator on February 24, 2025, with its inaugural flight between Paris Le Bourget and Istanbul.
Originally delivered as TC-ASD to Doğan Air, a corporate aviation subsidiary of Doğan Group, the jet was used for executive travel before being replaced in 2024 by a newer Falcon 2000LXS, registered TC-DGN (msn 411). After a brief registration period in France as F-HPSJ, the aircraft returned to Türkiye and was re-registered as TC-SKY under Barair’s operation.
Barair, a subsidiary of Barer Holding, holds a Turkish air operator’s certificate and is expanding its business aviation services. The Falcon 2000LXS joins Barair’s existing long-range business jet, a 13.4-year-old Bombardier Global 6000, also based at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
Barer Holding is primarily active in the defense sector, and Barair’s fleet diversification into Dassault aircraft represents a strategic move to enhance its executive aviation offerings. The Falcon 2000LXS, known for its performance, comfort, and short-runway capabilities, strengthens the operator’s capacity for domestic and international charter services.
With the addition of the Falcon jet, Barair continues to grow its footprint in Türkiye’s business aviation market, aligning with increasing demand for premium charter services in the region.
