Turkish Airlines Launches Istanbul to Santiago Service
Turkish Airlines is set to launch a new four-weekly service from Istanbul Airport (IST) to Santiago de Chile (SCL) starting December 18, 2024. This exciting new route will be an extension of its existing service to São Paulo-Guarulhos Airport (GRU) in Brazil, utilizing 5th Freedom rights. These rights allow airlines to carry passengers between two foreign countries as part of a journey that originates in their home country.
The flight will be operated using an Airbus A350-900, which will have a scheduled layover of 1 hour and 35 minutes in São Paulo before continuing on to Santiago.
