UAE island resort project brings Wynn to Middle East

Wynn Resorts plans to develop a “multibillion-dollar” resort with more than 1,000 rooms, a “gaming area” and a spa on a manmade island in the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, the company has not disclosed what it intends to do with a 38-acre tract of land on the Las Vegas Strip that it bought for $336 million four years ago.
