United Airlines, a prominent US carrier, has partnered with IDEMIA Identity and Security, an authorized TSA PreCheck enrollment provider, to offer travelers a hassle-free and accessible way to enroll in the trusted traveler program at Denver International Airport (DEN). TSA PreCheck provides eligible travelers expedited security screening at over 200 airports across the nation, eliminating the need to remove shoes, belts, liquids, or laptops. The program requires a background check and fingerprinting, with a five-year membership costing $78.

United Airlines and IDEMIA have introduced a pilot program at DEN, allowing ticketed United passengers to enroll in TSA PreCheck on-site without requiring an appointment. This initiative will run from August 14 to October 6, 2023. The enrollment center is situated in Concourse B, between Gates B18 and B20, and operates from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Monday to Friday. Travelers should bring a government-issued photo ID and proof of citizenship or lawful permanent residency. United MileagePlus members can also use 11,000 miles to cover the enrollment fee.

United Airlines’ Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Watterson, noted that this pilot program underscores the airline’s dedication to enhancing the travel experience for both customers and employees. He further highlighted that offering TSA PreCheck enrollment at DEN adds convenience and flexibility for passengers traveling to and from the airport.

Lisa Sullivan, IDEMIA’s Senior Vice President, expressed optimism about the partnership with United Airlines, which aims to enroll more travelers in TSA PreCheck, thereby enhancing airport security and efficiency. She also underscored IDEMIA’s pride in supporting United Airlines’ growth and operational reliability at DEN.

Denver International Airport holds significance as one of United Airlines’ rapidly expanding markets and serves as a pivotal hub for the carrier’s domestic and international network. The airline currently operates 166 daily flights to 57 destinations from DEN and plans to increase its gate count by four by the end of 2023. The airport is concurrently undergoing a substantial construction and renovation endeavor called New Horizons, designed to meet growing demand and elevate the passenger experience.
