United Airlines Unveils Largest International Expansion for 2025
United Airlines has announced its largest international expansion ever, adding eight new destinations to its 2025 trans-Atlantic summer schedule. Starting in May 2025, United will introduce the following routes:
- Newark (EWR) to Nuuk, Greenland (GOH)
- Tokyo Narita (NRT) to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (UBN)
- Newark (EWR) to Madeira, Portugal (FNC)
- Newark (EWR) to Palermo, Italy (PMO)
- Washington Dulles (IAD) to Dakar, Senegal (DSS)
- Tokyo Narita (NRT) to Kaohsiung, Taiwan (KHH)
- Newark (EWR) to Bilbao, Spain (BIO)
- Tokyo Narita (NRT) to Palau (ROR)
Additionally, United will add the following routes:
- Newark (EWR) to Faro, Portugal (FAO)
- Washington Dulles (IAD) to Nice, France (NCE) and Venice, Italy (VCE)
- Newark (EWR) to Dubrovnik, Croatia (DBV) (increased to daily)
- Newark (EWR) to Palma de Mallorca, Spain (PMI) (increased to 4 flights weekly)
United’s Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President of Global Network Planning, highlighted that these new routes provide customers with unmatched access to unique international destinations, offering a wide range of experiences from seaside getaways to urban escapes.
All new routes are subject to government approval.
