United to hire 1K employees

United Airlines hired 700 employees for its Chicago-based operations and it plans to fill another 1,000 more positions, including flight attendants, customer service agents, ramp workers, technicians and more, as it prepares for an expected busy summer travel season. The carrier is holding a career fair at the United Center on Wednesday.
