UPS celebrates opening of $18M Iowa cargo facility

UPS hosted a ribbon cutting for its new 53,800 square-foot, $18 million cargo facility, which officially opens this month at Eastern Iowa Airport. The facility, which is estimated to add 100 jobs in the Cedar Rapids area, is eight times larger than UPS’ existing facility and will be able to process about 4,000 packages an hour.
