US airlines celebrate Lunar New Year

To mark the start of Lunar New Year, JetBlue, UPS and Atlas shared new year’s greetings while Alaska Airlines featured stories from Asian employees about connecting with their roots and taking a stand against discrimination and violence. Additionally, Alaska Airlines participated in this year’s San Francisco Chinese New Year Festival and Parade as a title sponsor and through staging a float. “The float also makes me proud to work for a company that makes such a bold commitment in one of its hub cities,” San Francisco-based customer service agent Elmer Tosta said.
