US airlines commemorate Juneteenth

United Airlines marked Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the US, with a flight operated entirely by Black crew members, from pilots to technicians, and ceremonies on either end. Meanwhile, Alaska Airlines released a video in which employees discuss what Juneteenth means to them. Hawaiian Airlines shared a message of commemoration, also highlighting its efforts to foster inclusivity and build safe spaces for employees of all backgrounds to explore race and advocate for solutions to social challenges.
