US airlines increased employment in April

Passenger and cargo airlines added 4,752 jobs in April, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. Passenger airlines boosted employee numbers by 13.9% compared with April 2021 but have not yet reached pre-pandemic staffing levels.
