US airlines step up to provide essential services in crises
US airlines continue to step up when the US government calls for support. This includes Delta Air Lines, FedEx and United Airlines’ continued support for Operation Fly Formula relief flights. In recent months, Atlas Air, FedEx and UPS are among freight companies that have delivered military hardware to Ukraine. Airlines and freight shippers also delivered life-saving COVID-19 vaccines and protective equipment during the pandemic as well as evacuated refugees from Afghanistan.
