US Airports Lead the World’s Busiest List in July Amid Travel Rebound

The change of seasons doesn’t impact the busy status of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. According to the Official Airport Guide (OAG), it remains the busiest airport in the world even in July. As the home of Delta Air Lines, it stood out as the only airport with over 5 million seats scheduled for the month.

Among the top 10 busiest airports in July, five were located in the United States – Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, and Chicago O’Hare. Each of these airports had no less than 3.9 million seats available, with Atlanta leading the pack with over 5 million seats.

Internationally, Doha took the lead and secured the second spot globally, just behind Atlanta, with slightly over 4.9 million seats available. Tokyo International in Haneda ranked third, slightly ahead of Dallas.

Other airports making it to the list included London, Istanbul, and Guangzhou, China. The consistent high passenger volume at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport establishes its prominent position in the global aviation landscape.
