Utah liquor board plans changes for hotels, resorts

Utah’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control will become the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services as of June 1, and the definition of beer will also change to be more in line with current offerings like hard seltzers. The agency also reports an additional nine bar licenses will be offered due to changes to licensing requirements for hotels and resorts.
