Valo Aviation has expanded its fleet with the addition of a Dassault Falcon 8X to its air operator’s certificate (AOC), marking the company’s first operation of the ultra-long-range trijet. The aircraft, configured for up to 14 passengers and available for charter, was officially registered with Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA) on June 17, 2025.

“This reflects our ambition to build a world-class AOC,” said Hannah Hakamo, CEO of Valo Aviation. “We are proud to expand our fleet with a leading aircraft type.” Although the specific registration and serial number were not disclosed, records indicate Valo has managed a Falcon 8X, registered as T7-BSF, since late 2023. The jet recently arrived at Bahrain International Airport from Dubai.

Valo Aviation launched charter operations in 2024 with a Gulfstream G550 and became the first business jet charter operator based in Bahrain. The company aims to manage up to 15 aircraft within two years as part of its strategic growth plan.

In parallel with fleet expansion, Valo Aviation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bahrain Airport Company to construct a new 6,000-square-metre hangar at Bahrain International Airport. The facility, expected to be completed by the end of 2026, will be capable of accommodating bizliner-size aircraft and will offer 24/7 maintenance services, including both scheduled and unscheduled support.

The move reinforces Bahrain’s position as a growing hub for business aviation in the Gulf region and signals Valo’s commitment to long-term infrastructure development and premium charter services.
