Venue change nixed in Marriott Wardman Park bankruptcy

A court has turned down a request from Marriott International to move the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for a Washington, D.C., hotel to that city. The judge ruled that no compelling reason had been given to change the Marriott Wardman Park’s case from Wilmington, Del., where protection originally was sought.
