Vietjet Launches Hanoi-Kuala Lumpur Route with Green Friday Sale

Vietjet has officially launched its first direct flight between Hanoi, Vietnam, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, expanding its presence in Southeast Asia. The inaugural flight, VJ 905, departed from Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) at 07:20 local time on November 28, 2024, and arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) at 11:20 local time, after a smooth journey lasting just under three hours.

This new route will operate with seven return flights per week, doubling the number of flights between Vietnam and Malaysia to 14 return flights weekly. The increase in frequency is aimed at meeting the rising demand for travel between these two countries, which have seen growing passenger traffic in recent years.

To celebrate the launch of this exciting new route, Vietjet has kicked off a Green Friday sale, offering customers the opportunity to book international flights at VND 0.00 through the Vietjet website and mobile app. The promotion is available until December 31, 2024, giving passengers the chance to take advantage of significant savings on flights.

The Green Friday initiative, launched in November 2024, aims to promote eco-friendly travel options and raise awareness about the importance of sustainability in the aviation industry.
