Vietjet resumes Ho Chi Minh to Hong Kong route
Vietjet, Vietnam’s low-fare carrier, is set to relaunch the route between Ho Chi Minh city and Hong Kong in February 2023.
The route, which previously flew millions of passengers between the two destinations prior to Covid-19, and served as an incredibly popular route. Now, the service will operate twice weekly, on Monday and Friday.
Vietjet has a fleet of 69 aircraft currently in service, comprised of primarily Airbus A320 family aircraft, with six more on order.
The carrier is also expected to take delivery of its first Boeing 737 MAX in 2024, from the 200-strong order which was finalised back in 2016 and reaffirmed at FIA in July 2022.
