Vietnam Tops Emirates’ Most Popular Summer 2025 Destinations

Emirates has revealed its top global travel destinations for summer 2025, with Vietnam taking the lead as the airline’s most in-demand location. Flight searches between July 1 and August 30, 2025, have increased by 7% year-on-year, reflecting growing interest in cultural and off-the-beaten-path experiences.
Vietnam saw a 61% surge in booking interest, driven by the airline’s expanded network, including new service to Da Nang, in addition to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Emirates highlighted Da Nang’s access to UNESCO World Heritage sites and its appeal to culinary travelers.
Mauritius ranked second with a 41% increase in searches. Emirates operates twice-daily Airbus A380 flights to the island, known for its beaches and luxury resorts. Sri Lanka followed closely with a 32% rise in interest, praised for its cultural diversity, scenic landscapes, and affordability.
Japan retained strong popularity, up 28% in search volume, with Emirates offering 21 weekly flights to Tokyo and Osaka. France rounded out the top five, with a 25% increase in demand. Emirates operates up to five daily flights to Paris, Nice, and Lyon, using A380 and A350 aircraft.
The airline also saw growing demand from US, UK, German, and Indian travelers to destinations including Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and the Seychelles. Inbound travel to Dubai remains strong, with solo and family travelers from the US, India, and the UK contributing to the city’s popularity.
Emirates noted that American families tend to stay in Dubai for one to two weeks, while UK visitors often extend their vacations beyond that.
