Virgin Voyages has announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud to integrate generative AI across its global operations, aiming to enhance efficiency, elevate guest experiences, and empower its crew.
The collaboration has already led to the deployment of more than 50 specialized AI agents powered by Gemini Enterprise, Google Cloud’s generative AI platform. Among them is “Email Ellie,” a marketing agent designed to create hyper-personalized campaigns in Virgin Voyages’ signature cheeky and playful tone.
Trained to reflect the cruise line’s distinctive brand voice, Email Ellie has quickly proven its value. Since its launch, Virgin Voyages’ marketing team has reduced the time spent crafting campaign copy by 40 percent. The AI-powered campaigns have also helped drive a 28 percent year-over-year increase in July sales, marking a major milestone for the company.
