Vista America Expands GV Fleet and Retires Challenger 605s

JetSelect Aviation, operating under the Vista America brand, has expanded its fleet with the introduction of two Gulfstream GV jets under its Part 135 certificate. This addition marks a significant milestone for the company while simultaneously signaling the retirement of its last Challenger 605 aircraft. The fleet adjustments were finalized in November 2024, as confirmed by ch-aviation research.
The first of the new GV aircraft, N803HH (msn 665), was previously part of Starjet’s charter operations in the United States under the registration N333LX. This 22.2-year-old jet joined JetSelect Aviation’s fleet on November 10, with its inaugural flight under the “VJA” code between Morristown Municipal and White Plains. The second GV, N776RB (msn 585), was formerly operated by Jet Edge under the “EDG” code and completed its final flight for the operator on November 22. The 24.9-year-old aircraft subsequently commenced operations with JetSelect Aviation, flying from Sacramento International to Bedford, Massachusetts.
With these additions, JetSelect Aviation and Jet Edge now collectively operate three GVs within the Vista America group, offering enhanced long-range charter options for their clients. The GV is recognized for its ultra-long-range capabilities and premium passenger experience, aligning well with Vista America’s luxury-focused fleet.
Simultaneously, JetSelect Aviation has retired the Challenger 605 type from its operations. The final Challenger 605, N26JE (msn 5795), transitioned to VistaJet Malta and will be re-registered as 9H-VFS. This 15.9-year-old aircraft completed its last flight under the “VJA” code in July 2024 and was subsequently ferried to Malta in mid-November. With the retirement of the Challenger 605, Vista America has officially phased out this model from its operational lineup.
JetSelect Aviation’s current Part 135 fleet consists of 78 aircraft, including 36 Challenger 300s, 11 Challenger 350s, one Challenger 3500, a newly added Gulfstream G300, eight G450s, ten GIV-SPs, two GVs, six Global 5000s, and three Global 7500s. This diversified fleet caters to a wide range of luxury travel needs, from medium-range charters to ultra-long-haul flights.
The Challenger 605 retirement marks the end of this model within the Vista America brand. Of the 12 units previously operated, seven have been transferred to VistaJet Malta, while two are now managed by Charlie Foxtrot Aviation in India under VistaJet’s banner. The fleet reshuffling reflects Vista America’s broader strategy to modernize its aircraft offerings and focus on newer models that align with market demand.
The Vista America group, which includes JetSelect Aviation, Jet Edge, Red Wing Aviation, and XOJET Aviation, now operates a combined fleet of 128 aircraft. This comprehensive lineup underscores the brand’s commitment to providing top-tier charter services with a focus on luxury, performance, and operational excellence. The addition of the GV type strengthens Vista America’s position in the premium private aviation market, ensuring its ability to meet evolving customer expectations.
