VistaJet Adds Citation XLS+ in UK via SaxonAir Partnership

VistaJet Group Holding has expanded its UK presence by adding a Citation XLS+ to the market through a new partnership with SaxonAir Charter, based at Norwich International Airport. The move comes in response to increasing demand for domestic business aviation services in the United Kingdom.

“Welcoming this Citation XLS onto a United Kingdom certificate, in partnership with SaxonAir, allows us to offer domestic services on the Vista Members fleet,” said Nick Van der Meer, chief operating officer at Vista. The aircraft will support VistaJet’s growing membership base seeking short-haul connectivity across the UK.

SaxonAir inducted the Citation XLS+ aircraft, registered G-VJTA (msn 560-6165), in January 2025. The 10.9-year-old jet, configured for eight passengers, was previously operated by VistaJet Germany. Following a six-month period of inactivity, the aircraft resumed commercial operations on May 2, 2025, flying between Bournemouth and Farnborough.

SaxonAir CEO Alex Durand highlighted that the partnership blends SaxonAir’s local expertise with Vista’s global reach, offering greater flexibility and service options. “Adding such a popular aircraft type reflects the strong demand for business aviation that continues to be seen in this country,” he said.

The aircraft is now operating under SaxonAir’s UK AOC, enabling seamless domestic services under the VistaJet brand.

Earlier in 2025, VistaJet secured $1.3 billion in fresh funding, including $600 million from Singapore’s RRJ Capital and $700 million through a senior secured loan due in 2031, supporting the company’s ongoing fleet and market expansion plans.
